On April 18th we had our first major fundraiser, it was a huge success. We held a parking lot sale with the items that were donated to the center that our members couldn't use.
The sale ran from 6 am to 3 pm and the center pulled in over $600 dollars. The turnout was overwhelming, the sale was supposed to start at 7 but ended up starting early and lasted longer than was planned. Many people showed up to support the center.
We had six clothing racks donated to us and six more that were loaned to us to use for the day.
We would like to thank all those helped sort and run the sale especially Rita M. and Pat W. and those who showed up to support us in this endeavor.
