BH/CIA dba NO. PHOENIX VISIONS OF HOPE CENTER ... is a community based mental health agency providing day treatment programs and opportunities for life enhancement for Seriously Mentally Ill (SMI) adults in North Central Phoenix. People are able to move from isolation into the community at whatever level feels best for them to participate and contribute. They feel that the center is a safe harbor and a haven of hope. For some, the center is a place to make new friends, socialize and to be involved in recreational or personal activities.
Some people want to learn or relearn skills in arts, crafts, theater and music. Some want to refresh skills in english, math, history, geography and poetry.
Musical jam sessions are encouraged. Some instruments are provided.
Computer skills can be learned in our 12 seat computer lab connected to the internet. Email accounts are also available.
We have exercise equipment available. We also have a game room furnished with a pool, air-hockey, fozzball tables and a dart board.
Recovery is a progressive process. We have groups during the week to help members enhance their personal recovery.
There is no charge for the continental breakfasts, hot lunchs and light dinners.
